A shop of artisans carrai of Pitigliano became “b&b La Casa dei Carrai”
Hello everyone and welcome to my website. First of all, to describe the b&b La Casa dei Carrai, I have to start from the history of the building. In fact, the b&b is a historic house of the late 800 built entirely of tufa, on the ground of the Orsini Park of Pitigliano. It was also the home/workshop of the artisans who built carts until 1950 and if you listen to it, it will tell you its story.

At the center of the room a comfortable staircase that leads to the upper floor where there are the rooms. Finally, the outdoor garden, equipped with games for children, tables and chairs, where breakfast is served.
B&B LA CASA DEI CARRAI
La Casa dei Carrai is a historic house / workshop of the late 800 built in tuff, on the ground of the Orsini Park of Pitigliano. In the past it was accommodation / workshop of the Carrai, the artisans who built wagons until the 50s. The idea of turning it into a b & b was established in 2000. With this objective the building was completely renovated, until the old shop became a ‘houses. Now the structure is large, comfortable, modern and has use of kitchen with large living room, breakfast room, library, TV and WiFi. Outside there is the garden where breakfast is served.
